I have 3 beautiful shades from the Midnight Masquerade collection by Morgan Taylor to show you today - My Kind of Ball Gown, Jest-er Kidding and The Big Reveal. I've also got a swatch of New Year, New Blue from the Holiday 2014 collection.
I first reviewed Morgan Taylor all the way back in 2013, and again last year, and they're firmly up there with my favourite brands. They have fantastic formulas and a growing range of beautiful colours! Midnight Masquerade is the Winter 2014 collection and has six shades, 3 of which I've swatched today.
My Kind of Ball Gown is a rosy-pink creme with subtle gold shimmer. The shimmer doesn't show up much on the nail unfortunately, but this particular shade of pink is lovely. The formula is as great as I've come to expect from Morgan Taylor - pigmented and perfect in 2 coats. I've used 2 plus top coat.
The Big Reveal is my favourite of the 3 I tried. It's a gorgeous deep teal/blue glassfleck which reminds me of a night sky! I've used 2 coats plus top coat.
Lastly, New Year, New Blue is from the Holiday 2014 collection. In the bottle it's a dark blue shimmer with flashes of purple shimmer, but unfortunately those flashes don't translate to the nail. It's still a pretty colour, but it'd be so much better if you could see the purple! I used 2 coats plus top coat.
Midnight Masquerade is a gorgeous collection and a bit different from other Winter collections we've seen in 2014. You really must get your paws on The Big Reveal!
