FAQ

Please check here if you have any questions. If it's not answered here, feel free to email me - britnails@gmail.com

Are those your real nails?

Yes! This is probably the question I get asked the most (actually, some people even try to TELL me my nails are fake!) but I assure you, they are real.

Will you measure your nail beds for me?

Believe it or not, I get asked this a lot. Short answer: No.

What's your favourite polish brand?

This is difficult because there's loads of brands I love! At the moment I'm loving Barry M, Models Own, Glam Polish and piCture pOlish.

What top and base coats do you use?

This is subject to change, but at the moment I use No7 Stay Perfect top coat for nail art as it's quick drying, and OPI Nail Envy as a base coat. If I'm swatching a collection I usually just use a cheap and cheerful top coat such as Rimmel or Collection.

How do you take care of your nails?

See my Nail Care Essentials post!

What brushes do you use for nail art?

I have a lot of brushes and every blogger has their own personal favourites! If you're just getting started, something like this is a great starter kit.

Where do you get your nail art supplies?

The majority of my supplies, such as studs and sequins, are from Born Pretty Store. You can use my voucher code, LGL91, for 10% off your order. I've also bought a brush or two from The Nailasaurus Emporium.

What type of camera do you use?

I use a Sony DSC-HX9V, which is basically a fancy point and shoot.

Do you use a light box?

I do. It's just a regular soft box from eBay, very similar to this. Sometimes I take daylight pictures too, but the majority are light box. Finding the sun in England is not always easy!

Will you do a guest post for me?

It depends on how busy I am at the time. I don't often find the time these days but you can of course email me to ask!

What is your skin tone?

Olive, very olive!

Do you have a media kit?

Yes, please email me if you'd like to see it.
