Claire's Glitter and Barry M Cyan Blue

Anybody ever have their images stolen, watermark removed and replaced with someone else's watermark? What do you do, ignore it, ask them nicely to remove or go slightly mad? I really hate it when people steal things and pass it off as their own. Twice in recent weeks my images have appeared on the Instagram popular page, rotated with my watermark removed. The cheek of it!!

On to the post. I found this unnamed glitter in Claire's, still no Candy Shop though :( has anyone found that in the UK yet?

It has red, blue, silver and very light pink hexagonal glitter, and tiny silver glitter in a clear base. I might wear this for the Queen's Jubilee weekend and be a bit patriotic!

The formula wasn't great, it was very thick and gloopy and the glitter was difficult to spread out. The brush was also a pain with bristles shooting off in all directions!

I like the colours, shame about the gloop.

Also, my zombie middle finger has healed!

  1. Amazing Combo :-) I just painted my mothers nails with Cyan Blue and it looks great! Such a lovely colour, I'm in love with it!

  2. This reminds me of Ibiza Mix a bit, but with jubilee colours :) Think I might get it despite the gloppy formula for £2.50, can't really go wrong :) x

    1. Yeah the appearance is very similar, but the MO formula/density is much better! You're right though, can't really complain for £2.50.

  4. Ooh I really like this!

I can't believe people would take your watermark off! I can't think what you can do, other than put it across a more-difficult-place-to-remove in the image (which would somewhat distract from the photo). What a shame. x

    1. Thank you!

Yeah I could do that but I don't want to ruin the pictures. Awful people stealing things!

  7. Looks so pretty! I agree about Claire's nail polishes. The few I've tried have been pretty bad... overpriced rubbish in that shop as far as I'm concerned.

  8. I hate it when other people steal photos, crop them, rotate them then slap their own watermark on them, how bloody dare they?! I would send them an email and tell them to remove it.

Love the mani, beautiful colours. I love Cyan Blue, such a pretty polish. I haven't tried claires polishes before but haven't heard great things about them :(

  9. Cyan Blue = Win for me every time. Love that colour! That's so annoying that someone would remove your watermark, and claim your pics as their own?! I'd email them too. I think that's all that can be done really.

  11. I like the glitter . Never tried claire's nail polishes. have you tried model own Ibiza mix the formula is good.
So rude people stealing pictures and even removing watermark. It takes so much work to take good quality pictures and them people do like that so unfair.

  12. Very pretty! Shame that it gave you trouble. And I'm sorry about people stealing your photos...they are a lot of scummy individuals out there =/

  13. I've never had anyone stealing my photos, but it would really wind me up. I know it happens online a lot though.

I think if it was me I would be tempted to first off play innocent, and say something about being flattered that they like my photo so much, but they must have forgotten to credit me and I'm sure they won't mind now you've pointed it out... but then if they've gone to the trouble of cropping and re-watermarking then that probably won't work.

Are you on Twitter? I would tweet the theft (or put a link here) and we can all go on and comment about them being YOUR NAILS.
