Barry M Gelly Spring/Summer 2019

Barry M Gelly Spring Summer 2019

Gifted

While some other brands have faded away or discontinued lines that I loved, the Gelly range from Barry M is standing the test of time and still going strong. Summer may almost be over (or maybe already over going by the rain) but there's still time to rock the Summer '19 shades!

Now, I know this post is coming a while after the initial release of these shades, but I still need to express my excitement for a YELLOW GELLY. If you've followed my blog for a long time, you might remember me consistently longing for a yellow Gelly, and Barry M have finally heeded the call with Banana Split! It's a rich buttery shade of yellow which is bright without being neon.

The formula of yellow polishes tends to be a little tricky, though this one is definitely manageable. I used 2 coats then a 3rd thinner coat.

Barry M Banana Split

Blueberry Muffin is a rich creamy teal, and in real life a bit more on the teal side than my picture suggests (teal polishes are a nightmare to get an accurate swatch of!) This is a true one coat polish! Usually I like to use 2 coats regardless, but I really didn't need to here.

Tangerine is an intense red-orange, bordering on neon but not quite. I love this! It's just my type of colour. 2 coats here

Pink Grapefruit (not to be confused with Grapefruit) is a sweet candyfloss pink. 2 coats here

If you have a holiday coming up you need to grab these! Or if you're like me and perfectly happy to wear bright colours on your nails right though Autumn and Winter :)
