This collection is LONG overdue to make an appearance on my blog. I actually swatched these very soon after receiving them, but then I did something I've never done before - lost all the images. I'm not sure how I did it, but I was absolutely livid! It really put me off going back to them, because even if the second set are as good as the first, it'll never seem that way to me. I finally bit the bullet though and here they are - the Barry M Glitterati collection!
The Glitterati collection consists of 6 colourful glitters, and what makes them stand out to me is they aren't glitter toppers, so they can be worn alone (the market is flooded with glitter toppers, but not so many of these!) they also have sparkly holo glitter running through too, making them extra special!
The formula is a bit thick and gets gloopy on the brush quite quickly, so I'd recommend giving the bottle a good shake between coats. Each one needs 2-3 coats depending on how thickly you apply, but if you prefer you could layer 1 coat over a matching creme. I much prefer the jelly effect of using them alone, though! They dry slightly gritty so a good top coat will smooth them over.
Catwalk Queen is a seafoam-green glitter mix with holographic sparkle. Very mermaid-y! I've used 3 coats plus top coat.
Starlet is a rose-pink glitter mix with holo sparkle. I've used 3 coats plus top coat
VIP is an oean-blue glitter mix with holo sparkle. I've used 3 coats plus top coat
Rockstar is a black glitter mix with holo sparkle. I love this one because the different colours in the glitter really stand out! I've used 3 coats plus top coat
Socialite is a bright pink glitter mix with holo sparkle. I've used 3 coats plus top coat
Lastly, Fashion Icon is a purple glitter mix with holo sparkle. This one is my favourite so I've included a couple of extra pictures! I've used 3 coats plus top coat
These pack a seriously sparkly punch and as much as I do love a glitter topper, I always prefer a glitter that can be worn alone!
My picks: Fashion Icon, Catwalk Queen and Rockstar
