Nailbox July 2015

Nailbox July 2015

July's Nailbox has just been released, and it's a pretty special one! The theme is Tropical Treats and I've created some nail art using the goodies inside...

What is Nailbox?

Nailbox is a monthly subscription box dedicated to all things nails. Each box contains a carefully curated selection of nail products including on-trend colours from popular brands, delivered to your door once a month (dispatch day is on or around the 21st of each month) to find out more about the monthly plans available, click here.

July's box has a theme - Tropical Treats. I think this is the first box to have a theme, and I hope it's something they continue to do...I just LOVE a theme. Have I said theme enough?

Nailbox July 2015

Inside July's box:

- OPI Kiss Me I'm Brazilian (bright barbie pink creme)
- Barry M Need For Speed (medium lavender creme)
- China Glaze White On White (white creme)
- Elegant Touch Cuticle Eliminator
- MoYou London Tropical Plate 12
- MoYou London Rectangular stamp and scraper (which come in a cute little pouch!)

I was super excited to find a MoYou plate in the box, it was unexpected and a lovely surprise. Unfortunately for me the plate contains small designs (I usually use XL MoYou plates) but if your nails aren't gigantic like mine, you'll be ok! And if they are, well...use the palm trees! ;)

I love how the polish colours have been carefully chosen to match the theme, and all 3 work perfectly together for nail art. I started with a base of White On White, and used Need For Speed and Kiss Me I'm Brazilian to sponge on a gradient. I stamped on some designs from the MoYou London plate using White On White, and finished with top coat. White On White stamped better than I was expecting, I'm pretty pleased with it!

So, is it worth the money?

Yep, I definitely think it is. The polishes are on-trend and from well known brands, and the stamping plate in this month's box is such a nice touch. It's a great way to build up your nail polish collection and be introduced to nail care products you might not otherwise have tried. You can tell that some thought has gone into the box and it hasn't just been thrown together. I'm eager to see what things show up in nailbox over the coming months!

Availability

- Available only from Nailbox, prices start from £13.50 per month. If you want to purchase a one-off box, don't forget to cancel your subscription after as it's auto-renewing. Detailed info can be found on the Nailbox FAQ page.
