Zoya Awaken - Dillon and Cole Swatches

Zoya Awaken

Zoya released the Awaken collection for Spring 2014, and I have 2 shades from it to show you today!

I don't own many Zoya polishes (in fact I only own 4...these now live beside Micky and Hazel in my Helmer!) but I love the ones I've got. Zoya doesn't seem to have the big fan base in the UK that is has in the US, which is a shame. I'd love to see them available in stores here one day rather than just online! I love the huge variety of colours and finishes available and of course the unique and distinctive bottles.

Awaken is a nice little collection of 2 cremes and 4 metallic shimmers.

Cole is a peachy orange creme, I absolutely love this colour, but unfortunately the formula is a pain! It's thin and quite streaky which is disappointing. I needed 3 coats and a top coat to even it out. It's just so pretty though!

Dillon is a mint green metallic shimmer. The formula here is much better and easy to apply. I used 3 thin coats, no top coat

While I can't say too much for the cremes in this collection, the metallics are definitely worth a buy!

Availability

You can find Zoya at their official UK distributor, Zoya UK. You can also follow them on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to keep up to date with the UK releases!

  1. Beautiful swatches, I am in love with Cole and Dillon is so pretty too, I wish Zoya would come to the UK, they have so many incredible polishes I think they would be more popular in the UK if we had access to them!! :)

  3. I like Dillon, in spite of myself, because I don't often go for foil or metallic shades. I agree with Gillian, it's a shame Zoya isn't easier to get hold of here in the UK.

  4. They are both lovely but it's a shame with the formula with Cole.

  5. Cole reminds me a bit of OPI's Where Did Suzi's Man-go?

  7. I have been wanting Cole since the first time I saw it swatched. I keep hearing about the poor formula of it, but will most likely get it anyway. Some polishes are worth it. Beautiful photos and nails!
