Negative Space Chevrons


Today's manicure is inspired by Chalkboard Nails and features the wonderful Gumdrops textured polishes from Nicole by OPI!

This design is so striking yet so easy to do! For the chevrons I used Nail Vinyls but you could also just use scotch tape to mark off the sections of bare nail. Once I'd marked off all my sections, I painted over the vinyls with My Cherry Amour and A-Nise Treat (middle finger) both from the Nicole by OPI Gumdrops collection, which I reviewed here. I removed the vinyls to reveal the negative space, and that's it! No top coat required as I wanted to keep the matte texture finish.

    This is great! I'm not normally a fan of textured polish, but I think you have persuaded me to buy some! I loved Chalkboard Nails' version of this and I love your version too - the pink textured polish is so nice! :)
