Tattoo Nail Art

I was having a clear out of my various nail paraphernalia (I love that word) and came across my nail tattoos from Fake Tattoos (first reviewed here) and this design popped into my head!

I was going for a tattoo flash kind of look, and the little nail tattoos couldn't be any cuter. They're so easy to apply too, much simpler than water decals! You apply them in the same way you would for a fake skin tattoo. The close ups don't do them too many favours because you can see every tiny imperfection, but they look close to perfect in real life (aka not zoomed in on a camera!)

I used Barry M Lychee for my base colour, then just stuck the tattoos on in a haphhazard way. I finished with a coat of 17 Matte top coat, which is a bit rubbish really because it leaves those pesky white spots that some matte top coats are prone to. I need to invest in a better one!

This is so cute I could die. Going to keep it on for a while!

  1. I love the look of these tattoos :)

  2. This is so cute! I have these nail tattoos too but I'd never of thought of layering them on my nails like this - it's such a great way to combine the different nail tattoos! Barry M Lychee really makes the tattoos stand out as well! :)
