While browsing in Superdrug a few days ago I came across these new polishes from Maybelline (my eyes shot straight to them, I'm well trained!) called Street Artist, an addition to the Color Show range. I think there were 4 available but I was good and just picked my favourite two!
These polishes are glitter top coats, made to go over a colour of your choice. I honestly thought I was gettinga bit tired of glitter top coats but these stood out as being a bit different to what you usually come across on the high street! The two that caught my eye the most are White Splatter and Alley Attitude.
White Splatter is a mix of shiny and matte glitter. I love the combination of white, purple, green and blue! There's bar glitter, large white hexes, smaller purple green and blue hexes and lots of tiny square glitter. Here I've used 2 thin coats of White Splatter over Barry M Greenberry, topped with a coat of No7 Stay Perfect top coat.
Alley Attitude is a mix of black and blue matte glitter. No shiny glitter here! White Splatter may look more fun in the bottle but this one looks better on my nails, I absolutely love it. Here I've used two thin coats of Alley Attitude over OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, with No7 Stay Perfect top coat. Sort of reminds me of Oreo cookies!
I haven't loved glitter toppers as much as this in a while, I might have to go back and pick up the rest! These cost £3.99 each from Superdrug and Boots. Superdrug currently has an offer of buy one get one half price, so it'd be rude not to really. ;)
