Stamping Over Duochrome

Went back to basics for the title of this post, didn't I? Coming up with post titles is the bane of my life! Anyway, I've been doing more stamping. My MoYou London plates have really rekindled my love for it!

I've been meaning to try stamping over a duochrome for a while but have only just got round to it. I love the result! The duochrome I've used here is Dance Legend Wazowski, from the Chameleon collection which I've swatched here. I used an image from MoYou London Sailor Collection plate 05, and Konad Special Polish in black to stamp with. I'd forgotten how much of a huge mess the black Konad polish makes, it's like tar! It took me about 20 minutes to clean up this manicure and I swear black will be stuck in my cuticles for the rest of time. End result was worth it though, the black goes so well with the greens of the duochrome!

  4. Awesome! You can stamp with the polishes from Chameleon collection over dark base color, too, the effect will be the same, but clean-up won't be such a PITA (that's what I did when I reviewed Chameleon polishes :))
