A Tribute To A Wonderful Friend is part of the Spring 2016 releases from Colours By Llarowe and contains 8 polishes with a variety of different finishes. I previously showed you the Cremes & Shimmers and now it's time to delve into more shinies - featuring holos, of course!
This collection is a tribute to Helen, who is a friend of Llarowe's founder, Leah Ann. You can read Leah Ann's personal words here on the website. A portion of the proceeds from this collection will go to Helen's charity, Willow Foundation.
On The Wings of Eagles is a dark taupe jelly base with pink and gold shifting shimmer. Definitely not a traditional Spring shade, but one of my favourites. 3 thin coats plus top coat
Miss You My Friend is a light silvery blue intense linear holo, with silver micro flakes. 2 coats plus top coat
Life Is a Highway is a magenta jelly filled with scattered holo and purple/magenta micro glitter. This is possibly my favourite of the bunch, it's so squishy and sparkly. 2 coats plus top coat
Rare Jade is a jade green creme with gold flakes. My pictures don't do this enough justice, its so delicately pretty in real life. 3 thin coats plus top coat
Did You Know You're My Hero? is a cornflower blue base with pink/red/gold shifting shimmer. I love how strong the pink shimmer is here. 2 coats plus top coat
Pretty In Pink is a bright pink strong linear holo, with pink and rose micro glitter. This is pure girly happiness! 2 coats plus top coat
Helen is a muted turquoise base with pink and gold shimmer. 3 thin coats plus top coat
Lastly, You Make Me Smile is a bright coral pink soft linear holo, with subtle blue/purple shimmer. This one is very summery to me! 2 coats plus top coat
I love the variety of colours and finishes here and the meaning behind the collection makes it that little bit extra special. As always, let me know your thoughts!
