I've had time to sit down and swatch over the weekend, and the new Barry M polishes dropped through my door just in time! Part of the Summer 2015 launches are these new additions to the Speedy Quick Dry range, and I've got all six of them to share with you today.
The original Speedy collection contained Spring pastels which are lovely, but I'm in the mood for something a bit brighter now so these new colours are welcome additions. Barry M have also mixed things up a bit by throwing some shimmer finishes into the fold! The drying time on these is pretty much the same as described in my original post, although perhaps let the shimmers set for an extra minute or two.
The flat brush is back which I'm always happy to see, it means I need little to no clean up! All the formulas here are as good as you'd expect from Barry M, smooth and easy to layer up.
Get Set Go is a hot pink creme, super pigmented and bright! Shown is 2 coats plus Barry M Plumpy top coat.
Ooh look, a yellow! ;) On Your Marks is a pretty lemon yellow creme (I'm still waiting on my bright yellow gelly, but this will do for now) I've used 3 coats plus top coat
Need For Speed is a medium lavender creme. 2 coats plus top coat
Speed Demon is a baby pink with silvery shimmer. Very pretty and princess-like! The first coat is a bit sheer but it builds up nicely in 3 coats.
Turbo Charged is a bright coral with silvery shimmer. This might be my favourite! 2 coats plus top coat
Lastly, Supersonic is an indigo shimmer with flashes of purple that looks at its best in the sun, where the purple shimmer can really pop. 2 coats plus top coat
These are perfect summer additions and I love the inclusion of shimmers! What do you think of these colours, is there any particular colour you'd like to see released in the future?
My picks: Turbo Charged, On Your Marks, Supersonic
