Gradients 'n Polka Dots

Hi! Everyone having a good Monday? I've got the worst head cold ever and I'm still waiting for my little finger nail to grow back...I haven't been able to do my nails in days and it's driving me mad! So, just a quick post today to show you what I wore on my nails to the Barry M Spring Launch day last week.

As it was a Barry M event, I of course had to wear all Barry M products! This was a super rushed design as I did it very late the night before, but I think it turned out ok, and I even managed neat polka dots on my right hand! (polka dots, for some reason, are really not my strong point)

For the gradient, I started with a base of Ballerina, and sponged on a gradient with Vintage Violet (both reviewed here) for the polka dots, I started with a base of Matt White and used a dotting tool for the dots, using the same colours.

  1. This look is so pretty. I want to know your secrets to such amazing nails. They have an almost false look to them x

  3. I feel you. Polka dots look so easy to do, but I always mess them up. I just have a hard time making them the same size all the time and spacing them evenly. I like yours a lot and they look pretty perfect to me, though!
