Leather N' Leopard

This design is inspired by one of my best friends who said I needed to do a punk sort of manicure involving leopard print, leather and studs. So, here you go! ;)

I love leopard print and leather (or should I say pleather, I don't wear real leather!) and as I've said loads of times, leopard print designs are my favourite to do. I never get bored of them!

I started with a base of Barry M Lychee, before adding the leopard print using Illamasqua Taint and a Nails Supreme Nail Art Pen (first reviewed here). The leather effect polish is Nails Inc. Noho (first reviewed here) which I love so much! I added the studs (from Born Pretty Store) using little blobs of clear polish, and the red tips are just freehanded with a nail art brush.

Annoyingly, the leopard design ran when I added top coat because I didn't wait long enough for the nail art pen to dry. Moral of the story...always wait!!

  1. Great mani. I don't particularly like leather so I wouldn't feel comfortable in it, but it's very well done.

  2. The red tips are my favorite part of this look somehow, really brings it together and makes it stand out :)

  3. This combination works really well! I love the contrast between the leather and leopard print and the studs and red tips are a nice touch too!

  4. The red tips really remind me of leopard tights in red patent leather pumps. A bit trashy for my taste, but perfectly executed. Well done, a gorgeous mani!
