a-england Burne-Jones Dream Collection Swatches And Review

Hi! I've had a mad busy week and forgot to schedule in some posts, so sorry for that! Getting back on track now. The best bit of my week was the Coty Nail Event in London on Thursday. I met up with 2 of my best blogger friends, Alice and Sammy, and we went to the event together. We were really spoiled by the wonderful Coty team and got a peek at all the new and upcoming releases. Afterwards we got taken out for some lovely food by Laura from Rimmel London. How exciting! We also bumped into Emma and Jo from Dahlia Nails, who were both lovely. Can't wait for the next event!

Anyway, today I've got swatches of the beautiful Burne-Jones Dream collection from a-england.

This collection is a set of 5 twinkling, scattered holographic polishes inspired by the story of Sleeping Beauty, told through a series of paintings by Sir Edward Burne-Jones. I adore the little bits of history behind a-england polishes, it makes them that bit more enchanting!

The formulas here are as wonderful as you would expect from a-england, very silky and easy to apply. The effect of the holo depends on your light source, it looks it's best in direct sunlight, where a rainbow of sparkle becomes evident!

Fated Prince is a grey base with sparkling olive undertones and a rainbow of holo. I used 2 coats for perfect coverage, no top coat.

In sunlight you can see the rainbow holo!:

Lastly, Briarwood is a burgundy base with holo particles. This one is my favourite, the holo works so well with the beautiful deep brown base.

Such lovely, wonderful quality polishes from the imagination of Adina, a-england's founder. I hope I've managed to do them enough justice!

My picks: Briarwood & Briar Rose
