Last month I showed you the September Cirque Metropolis colours, and today I've got the October shades to share with you. They've taken a dark and vampy turn for October and couldn't be more suited to the month.

Autumn Polish Favourites

It's time for another round of my seasonal polish favourites, and this time I've rounded up my must-haves for Autumn. As usual I've narrowed it down to six, and it's been the hardest set to choose so far, I kept changing my mind and having to paint a new colour wheel! The list is in no particular order, although for one particular shade I just can't hide my favouritism.

One of my favourite brands, a england, has just released a brand new collection inspired by Emily Brontë, author of that novel which you'll have certainly heard of, Wuthering Heights. I have read the book (many years ago) but Wuthering Heights to me just brings out a chorus of the Kate Bush song...which I sang pretty much non stop while swatching this collection, so imagine that if you will.

Quick nail art post today featuring a beautiful piCture pOlish shade by my friend Emily of Very Emily and some Thumbs Up nail wraps. Not very seasonal maybe, but I couldn't resist the combination and sometimes you need a pastel fix, even in mid Autumn.

Models Own Twilight HyperGel Swatches

Models Own have released a further 13 shades into their popular HyperGel range for Autumn/Winter 2015, titled the Twilight collection (no relation to the films, thankfully) consisting of sultry red/berry shades and dusky greys, greens and browns. I have 4 from the collection to show you today.
