My Bloody Valentine

Here's my alternate Valentine's Day nails!

Base colour is Barielle Back To Nature. I freehanded on the drips and the heart with a striping brush and  China Glaze Winter Berry, finishing with an NYC top coat.

Now I can't get "My Bloody Valentine" by Good Charlotte out of my head. -_-

Ice Cream Drips

Some nail art today! I've always liked drippy nail art of any kind...but what would make it better? Glitter, obviously!

I used Barry M Silver Multi-glitter for the base, then free-handed on some drips with Barry M Fuchsia and a striping brush. For the sprinkles, I painted them on in white polish first so the colours would pop, and then painted over them in various Barry M colours.

I love how fun they are!

The New Black Typography kit - Review

Hi! Today I have a cute little kit to show you from the Mise Beauty website. One of the ranges they stock is called The New Black, and consists of mini kits with which you can create on-trend things like ombre and studded manis. I'm going to show you the Typography set...we've all heard of newspaper print nails, right? Well this kit provides all you need to create them.

You get a nude beige creme nail polish, transfer solution, top coat and ten sheets of newspaper print, which are printed with words like Passion, Hope, Cherish, Wish and a few more. The text on the sheets is printed backwards, so they'll be forwards on your nails, unlike if you used a normal newspaper!

Aqua Hearts Gradient

Since it's February today, I thought I'd start the month off with a Valentine (kind of) post...I'm really not one for soppy Valentine's day rubbish, but I love an excuse for a theme ;)

For this, I started with a base of Barry M Turquoise, and used Essie Blanc to sponge on a gradient. I topped it with Aqua Hearts by Candy Lacquer, which is shredded aqua foil and adorable little red hearts in a clear base.

How cute is Aqua Hearts!
