Barry M Glitter Gelly Swatches

It's been a while! Nail breakages etc, I won't go into it. I'm back today with swatches of the new Glitter Gelly shades from Barry M, which see a glittery twist on the ever-popular Gelly range. I feel like I've been waiting for this for ages.

So far each Gelly collection has consisted of cremes, so it's exciting to see Barry M branch out into glitter, and these shades couldn't be more perfect for this time of year. The super shiny Gelly finish is still evident, and the sparkly glitter particles appear suspended in the finish, giving them a mesmerising depth. 

The formula is great and dries smooth on the nail - you also won't need any elbow grease to remove as it's not gritty glitter, it comes off easily. These polishes are so sparkly, my swatches don't quite do them justice. Just imagine the extra sparkle!

Sparkling Ruby is a ruby red with flashes of sparkling gold. 2 smooth coats, no top coat.

Sparkling Amethyst is a vampy purple with blue and purple flash. 2 coats, no top coat.

I am totally in love with both of these polishes, but would you believe that Sparkling Ruby swings it for me? The combination of red and gold sparkle is making me feel all Christmassy. I really hope we see more Glitter Gellies in the future because they're completely perfect!
