Freckles Polish is a UK indie brand that has recently been brought to my attention from seeing swatches on Instagram, and owner Julieann has sent me some to try for myself! I'm showing you two of them today.
First up is Blue Soup from the Bridget Jones Collection, inspired by THAT scene in the film which I'm sure you'll remember if you've seen it! This is a beautiful shade of blue with a subtle sprinkling of shimmer, which my camera didn't pick up too well...but the focus of this polish is the gorgeous colour! The formula is great, I used 2 coats plus top coat.
Next is Should I Take a Coat? from the A Typical British Summer Collection, which made me smile because if you're a Brit you can definitely relate to that question! (and you can guarantee whatever you decide will be the wrong decision) this is a glitter topper with a mix of purple, grey and blue glitters. I've layered 2 coats over OPI Skull & Glossbones, plus top coat.
I also tried it over a dark base (a england Camelot) and it really brings out the blue glitters!
I'm impressed with these polishes, they're imaginative and good quality (the reviews on the store speak for themselves) and they're everything an indie should be!
Availability
- Available from the Freckles Polish Etsy store, priced £6.50 for 10ml and £3.50 for 5ml.
I like the glitter topper very much ... nice to find another UK indie brand, thanks for showing us! :)
