I can't get enough of the Distressed technique at the moment! My Halloween take on it was my most popular post for October. As green is my favourite polish colour (and incidentally the most pain in the bum to get colour correct...typical) this combination was inevitable!
For this look, I started with a base of Barry M White. The colours I swiped on are - Illamasqua Nomad and Muse, Barry M Guava, and Models Own Lime Green. Instead of using black for the finishing swipes, I used a-england Saint George. I wasn't sure how that would look, but the little bits of scattered holo really make this manicure!
If you're interested in trying this technique for yourself, Chalkboard Nails now has a tutorial up, so you can see for yourself how easy and effective it is!
