The Lacquer Lab Teen Witch Swatches and Review

Press Sample

British boutique brand The Lacquer Lab has relaunched with a brand new website and brand new bottles! And guess what...I'm the new resident swatcher! My little old nails now feature next to each polish on the website, so make sure you head over to have a look! There's new goodies in store too, with the upcoming launch of the Novella collection (my post on that will be coming soon) and the new limited edition Halloween polish I'm showing you today, Teen Witch.

I don't know about you, but I love love love Halloween. I love seeing everyone's Halloween nail art and all the Halloween themed polish collections! This year The Lacquer Lab have released their own spooky polish; Teen Witch is a bewitching black jelly base with a scattering of colourful micro glitter, and it's distinguishing feature...holo moons and circles! I would recommend layering this over a black creme base for a perfect finish, but you can wear it alone if you prefer. In my pictures I'm wearing 3 coats of the polish alone plus top coat (you'd only need 2 over a black creme) with a bit of placement for the moons.

Just perfect for Halloween! I love how the moons and circles are suspended in the jelly base!

  3. I like the small half moons in there and I'd totally wear it not only for Halloween. Since it is so sheer, I'd layer it over a dark base.

  5. Kinda looks like Revlon Celestial FX over black with added circle holo glitters and minus the star and diamond holo glitters :)

  6. This is such a beautiful nail polish and I can't say I've ever seen anything like it before. I think I may need to buy it, I can afford it and Halloween is next week so. :P
