While browsing the Marc Jacobs website for things I'll probably never be able to afford, I came across this cute, retro-style Petal Jersey dress and thought it'd make a fun pattern for some nail art! It looks far cuter and more dainty in real life, I must admit. It was really fun to do though!

How great is it that The Body Shop are delving into the nail polish market again? I seem to remember them doing polish a while ago, but the Colour Crush range is fresh, shiny and new! It launched in October 2014 and these have been sitting on my desk in the (very long) review queue for a while, but I'm regretting that now as they're quite fabulous and I wish I'd tried them out sooner! This collection is LONG overdue to make an appearance on my blog. I actually swatched these very soon after receiving them, but then I did something I've never done before - lost all the images. I'm not sure how I did it, but I was absolutely livid! It really put me off going back to them, because even if the second set are as good as the first, it'll never seem that way to me. It's not what I set out to do (is it ever?!) but the addition of the white glitter top coat on the grey and blue background looks like snow on a wintery afternoon - I think so, at least (I'm obsessed with snow, can you tell?)

2014 Year Review

Here is my last look back at 2014, condensed into one post so as not to prattle on too much! I've picked my favourite collections, favourite nail art and rounded up some blogging highlights (along with a lowlight or two) and made some blogging resolutions for 2015 (that's a lie, I totally haven't).

Top 10 Nail Polishes of 2014

Truthfully I'm not really big on round up posts and end of year lists, so I'm keeping it simple and uncluttered; this will be my only list, followed by a general end of year review. This post was actually supposed to go up earlier but I changed it last minute; I realised I was trying to vary the colours and brands so I wasn't picking too much of the same thing, but then I decided to just pick what I truly loved and not focus on variety. So, here's my top 10 polishes - my only rule was that the polish actually had to have been released in 2014!
