The Body Shop Colour Crush Nails Swatches and Review
Press Sample
How great is it that The Body Shop are delving into the nail polish market again? I seem to remember them doing polish a while ago, but the Colour Crush range is fresh, shiny and new! It launched in October 2014 and these have been sitting on my desk in the (very long) review queue for a while, but I'm regretting that now as they're quite fabulous and I wish I'd tried them out sooner! I have 5 shades from the range to share with you today
The range features a massive 26 shades including plenty of darks, brights, pastels and neutrals. They all appear to be cremes, so fingers crossed for some shimmer or glitter in the future! I do however always judge a brand by their cremes, and the formula surpassed my expectations; it's smooth as butter and has a high-gloss, almost gel-like appearance. They're also vegan-friendly and free of nasties!
Deeply In Love is a raspberry pink. 2 coats plus top coat
Cupid Pink is a bright bubblegum pink. This is a bit thinner than the others but still perfect in 2 coats!
Smoky Rose is a black creme with perhaps the tiniest hint of charcoal grey. This is almost a 1 coat polish but not quite. I've used 2 coats plus top coat
Crimson Kiss is a deep vampy red creme. Another beautiful formula, I've used 2 coats plus top coat
The Body Shop Green is a tribute to the iconic green logo. 2 coats plus top coat
These cremes are gorgeous and I'm thoroughly impressed! A dream to apply and so glossy. I was also pleasantly surprised to find they cost just £5 each, I was expecting it to be a little more than that due to the high quality. I've got my eye on Mint Cream, I'll be picking that up asap!

I'm actually sporting a Body Shop polish now (Hemp over Heels) and totally agree with you about the quality, they're so smooth to apply. I can't wait to try some more shades, Mint Cream is definitely on my wish list as well!
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to try these for ages but waiting on them to be part of offers! Love the first shade, I'm a sucker for raspberry shades.
ReplyDeleteAnd The Body Shop did do nail polish years ago! I remember once I was visiting my grandmother and went into the local branch and they gave me a free polish as I was visiting from Ireland! I think that was 2002ish
I've had my eye on these for a while but, as Breige said above, I've been waiting for them to go on offer!
ReplyDeleteThey look great and I'm glad the quality is so good. My favourite is Deeply in Love :)
Beautiful swatches as usual!
Those are some beautiful polishes!
ReplyDeleteCupid Pink is a fabulous colour; although they all look gorgeous!
