As soon as I saw the Models Own Polish For Tans collection, I knew I'd be digging into it for gradient nail art. The opaque formula works well for gradients, and this is what I came up with!
This design is so called because it reminds me of the retro Fruit Salad chewy sweets! The colours aren't an exact match but that's all I can think of when looking at this, and now I really want to eat some!
I'm really pleased with how this came out, it has an almost airbrushed quality and it's so bright in real life. To create it, I started with a white creme base. I then sponged on Beach Bag and Sun Hat using a make-up sponge, and blended together to make the vertical gradient. I finished with a coat of No7 Stay Perfect top coat. I uhhm'd and ahh'd over whether to add anything over the top, but I decided to leave it be, it's pretty enough on it's own!
Gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteWow! Love this. The vertical gradient looks great, especially when it's not the same on each nail. Beautiful! E&J.xx
