Feather Water Decals

I've found that I'm a bit partial to water decals lately, they're so much better than stickers! I have these cute feather ones from Born Pretty Store to show you today.

For my base colour, I used this method, but it didn't end up looking like tie-dye at all! It reminds me a bit of a turquoise gem stone. The colours used are Barry M Gellies in Greenberry, Guava and Watermelon. I finished with a coat of No7 Stay Perfect top coat.

The water decals are from this feather set from Born Pretty Store. They're easy to apply, you just cut out the design, peel the backing off and dunk in water for 30 seconds. The decal then slides off the card and you just place it where you want! I prefer to use tweezers as it makes it all a bit less fiddly. To remove, just use your regular nail polish remover.

Don't forget to use code LGL91 for 10% off at Born Pretty Store!

The feather kind of give me the sense of softness...
And the colour is beautiful too.
