The Spring collections have started to roll in, and I'm just about feeling in the mood for some lighter palettes, although I'm still wearing dark winter shades on my nails! Barry M have announced some new Spring shades for their Speedy Quick Dry range, and I've got them to show you today.
As soon as these dropped through my door I loved the colour palette, individually they're so pretty but together they look even better. I'd call them muted pastels and they'll definitely have you covered for spring nail art. As they're soft pastel shades, with some you might find you need 3 thin coats rather than 2 thicker ones.
Winning Streak is a soft beige with a fleshy pink undertone. This can appear more pink or more beige depending on the light, but it's a perfect nude either way and a great nail art base. 3 thin coats plus top coat.
In A Flash is a delicate, pale pastel pink. Due to the nature of the colour this one was a tiny bit streaky compared to the others, but looked perfect after 3 thin coats.
Freestyle is a dusty rose pink. This one is my favourite! 2 coats plus top coat
Personal Best is a dusty muted lavender. 2 coats plus top coat
This is a perfect little spring palette and will be great for gradients, as bases for nail art or just worn alone. Let me know what you think!

I love the second last ones the most! (But very light colours like the first two polishes will give my skin colour an unhealthy touch anyways.)
ReplyDeleteAhh these are so gorgeous. I want them all (and I said I'd be cutting down on the amount of nail polish I buy this year - ha)! Also, your nails are perfect!
