Coheed and Cambria Nail Art

Tonight I'm going to see my favourite band in the whole world ever, Coheed and Cambria. As appears to be the norm for me now, I did some nail art for the occasion! If you're not familiar with the band then this manicure probably will mean very little to you, so I'll give a very brief explanation of each nail (y'know incase anyone cares!)

On my index finger is the album cover for Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness, one of my favourite Coheed albums. My middle finger is their dragonfly logo, my ring finger is another logo called the Keywork, and my little finger is just a distressed pattern. My thumb is a shortened version of their text logo.

I used a small nail art brush with a mixture of polish and acrylic paint, and finished with a coat of No7 Stay Perfect Top Coat. The green polish is Barielle Green Opal. I'm quite happy with the way they turned out, even though I had no room for the dragonfly's wings...stupid narrow nails!

Here's a little thing I threw together so you can see where I'm coming from:

  1. Gah, I LOVE this! I love Coheed and Cambria, and saw them a couple of years ago at Download, they were seriously amazing - Claudio is crazy! I'm also in the middle of reading Year of The Black Rainbow which is awesome. Thank you Allie, this mani has made my day : D
