GOSH Galaxy - Swatches

Hi! I have one of the new GOSH polishes today, although I'm sad to say it's one of those that looks better in the bottle. I still like it, and I think it'll make a nice base for some stamping ideas I have, but the bottle paints a much prettier picture. It's also nothing like the promo pictures suggest! Oh well!

It seems to be an almost black, metallic base with shimmery blue and gold particles, and there's also some green in there somewhere (the green barely seemed to show up in my pictures though) It's completely different depending on the light source.

The formula was great and it was opaque in two coats, though a little prone to bald spots so you may need an extra coat. I'm not terribly impressed with it but it's nice enough for me to want to keep.

GOSH Berry Me Swatches

Ladies, what do you do when one of your perfectly manicured nails snaps clean off, so far down that it looks like a gerbil gnawed on it? Do you nub the rest, or just wait for it to grow back? Stick a false one on? My hands look a total mess, so I don't want to post for a while really :( I do have this to show you though, pictures taken before my nails went AWOL.

These pics are a few months old, excuse the poor clean up, my clean up and photography skills were not at the heady heights they are now (can't even say that with a straight face).

This is a vampy berry-red creme, with undertones of pink and I think I see purple? Or is that me being insane? 

The formula is quite thick but applies pretty nicely. I have two coats on in the pictures, with top coat. I absolutely love this colour...don't forget the base coat with this one though, staining little bugger!

Oh my GOSH, more stamping.

I'm very excited today because my friend and I have booked a city break to ROME! I can't wait to see all the landmarks and gorge on delicious Italian food!

On to the nails, here we have GOSH - Gasoline, which is a lovely purple shimmer/glitter in a jelly base. Over that I've stamped a design from BM plate 221, using Barry M - Silver Foil Effects.

My stamping skills could still be better. More practice required! I swear it's so much harder when you have very big nails. That's what I'm telling myself anyway.

I got some nail mail today, which is always one of the best things to wake up to. Lena White have a sale on OPI, so I picked all these up for half price! I also got some sensitive & peeling nail envy because my nails peel terribly. I really hope it helps. (Excuse the badly lit iPhone pic)

GOSH Ocean Swatches

Hello! I hadn't even finished swatching my last haul and I'm already onto a new batch. Oh well, I'm determined to swatch the lot one day.

This is Ocean by GOSH. A beautiful mermaid blue-green shimmer that really does remind me of a tropical ocean.

 

It applies pretty nicely, but beware of brush strokes! It's a little sheer but still manages to be opaque in two coats. It's such a nice colour, especially in the sunlight - 

Look at the shimmer! Shame it's winter and sunlight is few and far between :(

I'm really starting to like GOSH polishes, although £5/8ml is a bit expensive. As soon as I see the shimmery ones though I just cave!

GOSH Purple Heart Swatches

Just a quick post today. I've got lots of new polishes lately so I'll be swatching a lot next week and probably posting haul pics! 

This is Purple Heart by GOSH. It looks gorgeous inside the bottle, but unfortunately just doesn't pop as much on my nails. It has flashes of purple, black and green.

 

This is the only picture I managed to get that showed off the colour. For some reason the green you see in the bottle doesn't really translate to the nails. It's still quite nice though and the purple and black look great together. I'm sure someone with a better camera/lighting could get better pictures!
