Accessorize Nail Speckle Ladybird - Swatches

I spotted these speckle polishes in Accessorize a while ago. Some appear to be dupes of the Nails Inc Pudding Lane polishes. I picked up Ladybird and I'm in love with it! It's matte black glitter in a raspberry jelly base.

I layered 1 coat of Ladybird (and dabbed some on to fill in the gaps) over 2 coats of Barry M Raspberry. You could easily get full coverage in 2 coats of Ladybird alone, but the glitter would have clumped, so I found it easier to apply Raspberry first. Its more or less exactly the same colour anyway.

Accessorize Pink Spice Swatches

I really should be putting clothes away, but I've decided if they sit there long enough, they will put themselves away. That or just dissolve. So on...to the polish!! 

This has been lurking in my Helmer for a good while, I just bought it without really thinking about it. Then I noticed on Pinterest that I was sitting on a MAC BAD FAIRY DUPE!! I flew over to the Helmer to swatch it, and ooooooh is it beautiful.

Now I do not own Bad Fairy, but I think this is a bloody good dupe. And a mere £4 a bottle. Be still my heart. This is a foily, duochromey combination of wonderment. It flashes copper/orange, and deep (almost red) pink, and is packed with shimmer.

Formula was lovely, I used three coats to build it up as it's a little bit sheer, but super manageable. 

Look how pretty!! I just love it. I'm going to try and pick up another bottle for my giveaway, which should be happening next week :)

Accessorize Navy Ink Swatches

I had a nail disaster yesterday, the entire corner of my middle nail snapped off and my thumb nail has cracked half way down  (on my good hand!) :( I don't know why my nails are SO brittle! I hope it's not too evident in my pictures. Anyway...

I've had this polish a while and only just decided to try it. I usually shy away from dark colours because they stain my nails, even with a base coat. I'm glad I tried it though because I love it! It's from the Accessorize 'With Love' collection.

 

It's a deep navy base with a lighter blue shimmer that shines beautifully in the sunlight. The formula was quite thick, two coats was enough, but it did start to chip after only two days...though that could be partly to do with me using cheap base and top coats (I really need to invest in something better)

You can see in the above picture how it shines in the sunlight. I love it! I just hope I don't get too much staining when it comes to removal :(
