Glam Polish Masters Of Illusion Collection Swatches and Review

Press Sample

Today I have 4 shades from the brand new, limited edition Masters Of Illusion collection from Glam Polish to share with you! I'm so excited to have been able to swatch these, they're very unique and will definitely make you break your no buy ;)

Masters Of Illusion is the perfect name for this collection, because at first glance I wasn't quite sure what they were...holo? Flakie? Glitter?! The more I turned the bottles over in my hand the more dimensions I seemed to find! My press info states that they're a mix of flakies, holo, microflakies and colour-shifting glassflecks; together creating a unique effect that I haven't seen before in my stash. The holo particles are super strong and sparkle so fiercely under direct light/in sunlight!

The formulas are pretty consistent throughout, a little sheer on the first coat but smooth enough to build with no drag or clumping. They dry pretty smooth but look best with a glossy top coat.

The first 3 shades I have are colour shifting shades, and the 4th is a sparkling shade (the collection consists of 9 shades in total - 5 colour shifting, 3 sparkling).

Mad Magician is a violet/red toned base with holo particles and colour shifting glassflecks.  SO stunning! I used 3 coats plus top coat

Deceptive Practice is a copper/gold base with colour shifting glassflecks, copper/green flakies and holo particles. It reminds me of bejewelled Egyptian treasure! I used 3 coats plus top coat

Escape Artist a silver base with prominent blue flakies, colour shifting glassflecks and holo particles. I used 3 coats plus top coat

The Prestige is a pale lilac base with holo particles, iridescent rainbow flakies and glassflecks. This one is my favourite, it's SO sparkly and the colour is beautiful!

I absolutely cannot get enough of these polishes; everything about them is beautiful, I couldn't stop moving my hands around to admire the holo while I was swatching. I'm a little bit in awe of Glam Polish lately! (Don't forget to check out my swatches of the Cast a Spell Part 3 collection)

What do you think, will you be treating yourself? ;)
