A new year means new Gelly! Barry M are releasing 3 fresh new shades for Spring 2015 - Fondant, Cotton and Sky Blue, and I have swatches of them all to share today

I always look forward to seeing what new Gelly shades Barry M come up with, they've consistently been some of my most popular posts since I reviewed the original release way back in September 2012, and there's now a massive 37 shades in the range! All of which you can see on my blog, by the way ;) at the Spring launch event in London, I was chatting with Caroline (Barry M's marketing manager) about the popularity of the Gellies, and I mentioned how much I would love a sunshine yellow, and Hannah asked for a bright purple...so we'll see :P

Fondant - sugary sweet lilac with a hint of pink. Such a beautiful spring colour! I used 2 coats, no top coat

Cotton - for all intents and purposes this is white, but to my eyes it's ever-so-slightly off white. Whiter than Coconut (see my comparison at the bottom of the post) I can see this being another favourite nail art base. The formula is slightly thick so could need thinning in the future. I've used 3 thin coats, no top coat, but you could use 2 thicker coats if preferred.

Sky Blue - gorgeous bright pastel blue with a touch of turquoise. The formula here is a little thinner than the others, I used 3 thin coats, no top coat

Cotton Vs. Coconut - this comparison shot makes Cotton look even whiter! Both great shades to have, especially if you're into nail art.

Three perfect additions for Spring, I know a good few of you collect the Gelly shades and will be excited to get your hands on these! Which is your favourite? Usually I would lean towards any blue/green shade, but Fondant has won my heart here!

  10. Ahh, I've been looking for a new white since I've struggled to find the Sinful Colors one, and I think I might give Cotton a try - I know I get on with the consistency of the gelly polishes so I think it'll be ideal, even if it is slightly off-white.
Fab that you asked for a yellow, that's what I'd love to see in the gelly range too!
Also thanks for awesome blog posts about new releases - I've used your blog loads over the past few days to decide which Models Own Chrome shades I wanted, and now to have a look at these and find out when they're going to be released etc <3
