Seventeen Colour Clash Swatches and Review

Firstly I must ask myself where I've been because I wasn't aware 17 had changed to Seventeen. When did that happen!? I picked these up from Boots a little while ago, they seem to be in a similar vein to the Maybelline Street Artist range!

Colour Clash are glitter top coats full of matte hex glitter of varying sizes. There only seems to be two available - Tropical Punch and In The Surf. There's a good amount of glitter in them, you'll only need 1 or 2 coats depending on your preference. The only thing I don't like about these is the packaging, it's very old fashioned and dare I say it looks cheap!? Sort it out, Seventeen! ;)

Tropical Punch consists of teeny tiny peachy coloured glitter, along with larger lime green, white and blue pieces. I've used 2 thin coats over Barry M Papaya, and 2 coats of top coat to smooth things over.

In The Surf consists of tiny blue and white glitter, and larger blue and white pieces. There's also the odd bit of large peach glitter but hardly any at all! I used 2 thin coats over Barry M Lychee.

In The Surf is my favourite. I love the lime green and blue!

These are £3.99 each from Boots stores or Boots online

  1. I saw these the other day in Boots and immediately thought of Maybelline nail polishes too! I love the look of them both - they are different to other glitter polishes I've seen, the colours in both of these are more subtle :)
