UK Indie Polish - Hairy Legs London

Hi! I have a UK indie brand to show you today. It's great to see UK indie polish springing up, for so long there was nothing at all! I considered starting one myself around a year ago but I realised I am far too lazy, so I'm happy to see motivated talented ladies around the UK doing it.

This particular brand has the best name ever...Hairy Legs. Not a name you'll forget in a hurry! I also can't resist the quirky logo on the bottle stickers. Hairy Legs creator Sanita sent me 4 polishes to try.

Rainbow Troll was inspired by the popular/frightening/cute Troll dolls of the 80's/90's. This has pink squares/yellow circles/blue and green bar glitter in a clear base, with a sprinkling of purple iridescent shiny bits. I used 2 coats over OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, followed by 2 coats of top coat.

I matched some floral nail art to the glitter, inspired by this post from Chalkboard Nails.

Monstrous Crater is inspired by Monsters Inc. and contains metallic blue bar glitter, big turquoise circles and smaller green circles and loads of purple glitter in a clear base. It's definitely a glitterbomb! Shown here is 2 coats of Monstrous Crater over 2 coats of w7 Ocean Breeze, and 2 coats of top coat. I use 2 coats as a general rule with glitter bombs, helps to tame them!

Trash My Name is silver and blue/purple bar glitter, big silver circles/smaller pink circles and lots of red micro glitter. Shown here is 3 coats over w7 black.

Lastly, Strawberry Sorbet #1 is square neon pink glitter with iridescent bar glitter. This is inspired by the Strawberry Sorbet Barbie! I've used 1 coat and a bit of placement here over OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. For the accent nail I used a neon square stud from Born Pretty Store.

What do you think? I think Monstrous Crater is my favourite of the 4 but I love Rainbow Troll too! I'm looking forward to seeing what Sanita comes up with for Halloween!

You can buy Hairy Legs polishes through their Etsy store, the ones shown here are £7 each for a 10ml bottle.

  4. Love the one with the cabbage roses and white base...that one is space glitter but fun shapes and I could find a lot of use for that one - it's different then anything else I have.
