Cirque Colors Metropolis Collection Spring/Summer 2016

Today I've got the latest releases from the Metropolis collection by Cirque Colors. Up until now this ongoing line of NYC-inspired polishes have been monthly releases, but they're now going to be seasonal, starting with these 9 shades for Spring/Summer 2016.

The thing I love about the Metropolis polishes is that they're all cremes, and give me a creme with an amazing formula over anything! Even the palest shades here have great formulas, which isn't all that common with pale pastels; I was surprised to find I only needed 2 coats and there was absolutely no streaking or bald patches. I always say it, but Cirque really can make a creme.

Meet Me In Montauk is a pale, barely-there light blue creme. 2 coats plus top coat

Don't Forget The Cannoli is an ivory creme with a hint of creamy magnolia. This will make a perfect base for nail art! 2 coats plus top coat

Key To Gramercy is a minty green creme. This one is my favourite of all 9 shades, it's such a perfect shade of green and pure Spring. 2 coats plus top coat

Whitney is a pale dusty lilac/pink. This is one of my favourites, it's so elegant and classy. 2 coats plus top coat

Lox and Sable is a salmon pink creme. 2 coats plus top coat

Mermaid Parade is a bright teal creme. 2 coats plus top coat

Fire Island is a bright red/orange creme. 2 coats plus top coat

Chelsea Girl is a medium purple creme. 2 coats plus top coat

Lastly, Rhapsody In Blue is a cobalt blue creme (This was previously released as Santorini) 2 coats plus top coat.

There isn't a shade I dislike here, but the pastels are to die for - I can't get over how great the formulas are.

My picks: Whitney, Key To Gramercy, Meet Me In Montauk
