Barry M Spring 2015 Launches Preview

Yesterday, I went down to London for a preview of the Spring 2015 launches from Barry M! All the details on the new products ahead (swatches will arrive soon) plus a mini photo report of the day!

New Models Own Disco Pants collection - Press Release and Sneak Peek

Today Models Own have announced another new range of polishes - the Disco Pants collection! Inspired by famous New York nightclubs, the collection consists of 3 metallic shades and 2 gorgeous glitzy shimmers. They are:

Sound Factory - Deep sapphire blue

Paradise Garage - Mesmerising emerald green

Studio 54 - Pretty pink diamond

Copacabana - Shimmering gold topaz

Roxy - Majestic purple amethyst

These will be available on the Models Own website from 17th October, Bottleshops from 18th October and Superdrug stores from 22nd October. I have a few more bottle shots ahead, swatches will be following ASAP! 

New: Barry M Autumn/Winter 2014 Gelly Nail Paint

Gelly time is always an exciting time around here, and I've been anxiously awaiting this release! Brand new for Autumn/Winter 2014 are six new Gelly shades from Barry M. Left to right (in the above picture) there is: Chai, Paprika, Cocoa, Chilli, Cardamom and Mustard, perfect warm Autumn hues!

These will be arriving in Superdrug on August 27th, so not long to wait. What do you like the look of most? I love Mustard!

Barry M Summer 2014 Releases Roundup!

Today I have a little peek at Barry M's latest Summer 2014 releases for you to drool over! These have only just arrived on my doorstep so no swatches yet, but they will of course follow.

First up are the nail releases. We've already had the Summer Gelly release, and now we have some fabulous Limited Edition polishes! The two on the left are Carousel and Bikini (Boots exclusive) and the two on the right are Seaside and Promenade (Superdrug Exclusive) they look so pretty, and look at those lids!

New Summer 2014 Barry M Gelly - Press Release

Above is the press release for the new Barry M Gelly Nail Paint for Summer 2014!! How exciting! There's Kiwi, Almond, Elderberry, Coconut, Pink Punch, Olive and Damson. 

My first thought was WOW THAT GREEN! ;) some of them do a look a bit similar to ones we already have, but I'm going to wait until I've compared. I'll have swatches for you all asap, and I believe there will be an early release of Pink Punch and Almond this Wednesday in larger Boots stores!

What are your thoughts? I love the look of Coconut, looks like it could be a great base for nail art! I'm most excited for Kiwi though!

New Spring/Summer launches from Barry M - Nail Art Pens and Nail Paint Corrector Pen!

Barry M announced some new products today (they're spoiling us lately!) which includes nail art pens! They come in black, silver, white and pink. I've never been able to get the hang of nail art pens I've used in the past, so I'm hoping I get on okay with these ones!

From Barry M: "Decorate your nails with Barry M’s Nail Art Pens! The extra fine tip and easy grip bottle means you can design with ease. Simply shake the bottle well before use and pump the tip until the colour starts to flow"

They also announced a nail paint corrector pen! I wonder if this will be good for getting a clean line around your cuticles?

The pens and corrector pen will be available at Superdrug from April 10th, and Boots from April 17th! All priced at £4.99 each.

New from Barry M - Gelly Nail Paint

Barry M has another exciting release coming up! I'm already a huge fan of jelly-finish polishes but find them pretty hard to come by in the UK, but Barry M saves the day again! Apparently they're going to be 1-coaters...I've never experienced a 1-coat jelly before, so I'm intrigued.

Barry M have just announced a new line of polish on their Facebook page!

This is what they had to say:

New blog name! And first nail wheel!

I finally got around to changing my blog name. I had a nightmare with it at first, and ended up preventing everyone seeing my updates. Seems just changing the blog URL does not work well. I spoke with Alexandra @ SparklyVernis, she was a big help and I decided to just buy the domain. So everything should hopefully be re-directed. Also thank you to Mel @ Glassflecked for listening to me rant in horror that I'd broken my blog, and finally thanks to everyone who commented on my help post yesterday :)

Anyway, this blog is now called Brit Nails. Not crazily exciting but I just wanted simple and to the point! Lush Lacquer is no more, but any links to it should be redirected. I also have a new, clean and simple layout. 

SO! Here is my first completed nail wheel. There are a couple of designs on it that I'm not fond of, but I had lots of fun doing it. Already working on more! It's such good practice.

If anybody wants to know specific colours, drop a comment or an email.

Models Own announced five new polishes today, to launch this November.

Called The Beetlejuice Collection (yay!!) This is how they're described:

GOLDEN GREEN - A fresh energetic acid

PINKY BROWN - A warm, rusty pink

PURPLE BLUE - A vibrant punch of fuchsia indigo

AQUA VIOLET - A true sky shimmer

EMERALD BLACK - A bold-blackened midnight peacock.

Each bottle contains four pearlescent colours mixed into one gleaming shade, and the complex colour-shifting, with flashes of vivid tones and ethereal hues, gives a shimmering duo chrome finish.

So excited for these! I think Aqua Violet looks the best, but Golden Green looks a little like Chanel Peridot.
