Colors By Llarowe Jellies/Crellies Winter 2015

Colors by Llarowe Jellies 2015
It's been a while again! I've really needed the extended break, for many reasons that I won't go in to, but I'm not quitting or anything like that. I'm going to need some time to catch up though, so please bear with me! I'm starting my catch up with the Winter jellies and crellies from Colors By Llarowe. "Crelly" is a word I really don't like using (I just hate it!) but I've decided to bite the bullet and just use it for this post! ;)

This is my first experience with CbL jellies/crellies, I've heard such good things so I had high expectations. This set of six was released alongside the Winter 2015 holo polishes, and it's so nice to have a break from holo sometimes. The formula across all six polishes is consistently good, a little thick but easy to apply with a super squishy payoff!

Regal is a vibrant royal blue crelly with a slight violet undertone and is my favourite from this collection. It dries down to a slightly matte finish so I added top coat. Formula is smooth and easy to apply, I used 2 coats.

Violet Haze is a deep violet jelly. This one is so squishy and glassy, I love it. 2 coats plus top coat

Camo is a camoflage green crelly. This one looks a lot nicer in real life than on my swatch, I had trouble capturing it, however I think I have the colour accuracy down. 2 coats plus top coat

Emerald Isle is a slightly blackened, deep green crelly. This is such a rich colour! 2 coats plus top coat

Devilish is a medium red jelly with quite a warm tone. If you're looking for a perfect red jelly, look no further, you've found it! A tiny bit more sheer than the others, I used 3 thin coats plus top coat.

Red-y Or Not is extremely similar to Devilish. In fact I can barely see a difference in my swatches (can you?) in real life though, Red-y Or Not is ever so slightly brighter. Other than that however, I can't see a difference! I used 3 thin coats

These are beautiful polishes and some of the best quality jelly/crelly formulas I've seen. I can't get enough of that squishy finish!

My picks: Regal, Violet Haze

  3. Haha I so feel you on "crelly", /shivers! Not a fan of these on their own however I think they would look pretty awesome for nail art or jelly sandwiches!

  6. Flawless swatches! I think I would like owning one or two or these, but as a collection I wish there was more variety.
