piCture pOlish Coco Potion Review

picture polish coco potion

As well as their range of nail polish, piCture pOlish now have a range of cuticle treatments available, including Coco Potion; a coconut oil cuticle conditioner with added Vitamin E which I've been trialling for the past couple of weeks.

I've long been an advocate of taking good care of my cuticles and I always encourage others to do the same (honestly, gnarly cuticles are not a good look and so easily avoided) and there's a crazy amount of products available to help you keep them looking good.

Coco Potion is a light, easily absorbed formula and only ever-so-slightly greasy (in comparison to Lush Lemony Flutter, which is what I'm used to, it's not greasy at all) it has a sweet, fresh coconut scent which is long lasting but not overpowering.

I've been applying it all over my cuticles, nail plate and under my free edge. After application, I rub it in slightly then leave to absorb, which doesn't take long at all.

My routine has been applying it before bed each night, and after a bath or shower. It's also nice to apply after a long swatching session. After just a few days, my cuticles were noticeably softer and far more aesthetically pleasing...would you agree?

This is my favourite nail treatment of the moment and I would recommend it if you want to show your cuticles a bit more love. A little goes a long way too; I've been using mine for 2 weeks and there isn't a dent in the bottle yet!

What are your favourite nail/cuticle treatments?

  1. This product sounds great! I have so many oils and balms laying around my house that I can't really justify adding more (though I always do, lol) but if I ever run out, this might be a new addition!

  2. This definitely sounds really nice! I love coconut oil for skincare and haircare so I have no doubts this is lovely. My favourite cuticle care is Badger cuticle balm but sometimes I switch it up and go for oils.

  3. That sounds lovely! I might try that when I've used up my current cuticle oil. :)

  4. I'm a Lemony Flutter kinda girl for on the go and at bedtime, but I've found such cuticle oil treatments to be awesome, when I'm taking my mani off - it helps prevent acetone impact.
The only thing that I don't like about this Coco Potion is the scent though... coconut is def not my thing :(

  8. This sounds awesome. I love coconut oil, it's the miracle oil I swear so that in itself makes this sound promising! I may bite the bullet and pick this up! I'm always looking for new ways to nourish my cuticles. :) I agree, there is no excuse for janky cuticles!

  9. Looking forward to trying this as my next cuticle care oil. At the moment I'm using the coconut and kiwi from color4nails cuticle oil and that's working really well and has a really good pen brush applicator :) Great post as always!

  10. I'm currently a fan of Leighton Dennys cuticle oil pen. The pen format makes it so easy to apply and I love the fresh lemon scent x
